FARA - easy & sweet - Jack Russell Terrier and Chihuahua Dog for Adoption

Meet FARA!

Fara is about 2 years old and 9.4 lbs! She's a perfect size to fit in a bag and is very portable. While we don't know her breed, our best guess is terrier/chihuahua. She is the cutest little scruffy baby! Please note the videos and photos make her look larger than she really is!

Kora is great with dogs! She is excellent with other dogs of all sizes. She is currently in a home with 10 other dogs of varying sizes and is great with all of them. She is respectful of the other dogs.

Kora is easy going and sweet. She is the kind of dog that is perfect for a first time dog owner. She is quiet, observant and has a balanced in personality!

She’s also been wonderful with everyone she’s met. While she has not been with children under our care, we have no reason to believe that she wouldn’t be fine with them!

She is also good with cats. She doesn’t pay them any attention really (see video).

House training wise, she goes outside and on pads!

HER STORY: She was found as a stray dog (likely dumped by her owner) on a feeding route of one of our independent rescuers.

She is spayed, vaccinated, fecal negative, heartworm negative and is ready to find her forever home!

Please note that we can easily ship in cabin with a person to many airports including JFK, LGA, EWR, BOS, PHL, BWI, BDL, DCA, IAD, TPA, MCO, ORD and many more! The process is incredibly easy to get your dog over from Puerto Rico and we have done it thousands (not an exaggeration) of times! Any questions about whether we can ship to, please ask!***

The Jack Russell Terrier is a lively and intelligent small breed known for its boundless energy and strong hunting instincts. With a distinctive white coat and often sporting tan or black markings, these dogs are full of personality and require regular exercise and mental stimulation to thrive. Jack Russell Terriers are fiercely loyal and make excellent companions for active owners willing to provide the mental and physical challenges this energetic breed needs to stay happy and healthy.
