# Hi... My Name Is Cinnamon Roll.
My friends call me **Cinny**.
I'm a **2-year-old Miniature Poodle**, weighing about 25 lbs and I have a little story I'd like to tell you.
I should be the only pet in the house so I can soak up all the love. You might notice in my photos that my front leg turns outward like a little ballet dancer. This unique trait makes me the ultimate low-impact companion.
I'm already **spayed, up to date on my vaccines, microchipped, crate trained, and house trained**.
I traveled from South California to Ridgefield, WA to live with my foster family. I also can travel to Vancouver, BC if there is a potential family for me.
My adoption fee is $1000 US

Here is my story:
I wish I could tell you where I was born or what my puppy days were like.
I wish I could tell you why the people I loved decided they couldn't keep me.
But I'm just a dog.
All I know is that once upon a time...
**I thought I had a family.**
I thought I was home.
I knew their voices. I knew their smells. I knew where to sleep and where my food bowl was.
I didn't know there was such a thing as being "rehomed."
Dogs don't understand words like that.
We only understand that one day, the people we love are there...
And the next day...
They're gone.
My family gave me to someone new.
Everything changed.
New people.
New smells.
A new place to sleep.
I was confused, but I tried to be brave.
I told my little heart...
**"Maybe this is home now."**
So I did what dogs do.
I trusted again.
I loved again.
I thought maybe this time I could stay.
But I was wrong.
My new owner took me to a shelter in Southern California...
And left me there.
I didn't understand why.
I remember waiting.
There were so many unfamiliar sounds and smells around me.
Every time someone walked by, I looked up.
**Maybe they're coming back for me.**
Every time a door opened...
**Maybe I'm going home.**
But the days passed.
Nobody came.
My first family didn't want me back.
My second family didn't come back either.
And I couldn't understand one thing...
**What did I do wrong?**
Was I not cute enough?
Was I not sweet enough?
Did I love too much?
Nobody could explain it to me.
Then one day...
Someone came.
This time, they weren't coming to leave me behind.
**They came to rescue me.**
They looked at me and somehow saw past the scared little dog sitting in front of them.
They saw the girl I still had inside.
And slowly...
That girl started coming back.
Today, I'm learning how wonderful life can be.
I've discovered that I absolutely LOVE plush toys.
I love playing fetch around the house.
And I recently discovered something incredible...
**Car rides with the windows down!**
Oh my goodness.
Feeling the breeze blowing through my curly hair makes me feel like the happiest little dog in the whole world.
And strawberries...
Have you ever tasted a strawberry?
Because I think they're one of the best things humans have ever invented.
But there's something I love even more.
**Being close to someone I trust.**
When I first meet you, I might not jump straight into your arms.
Please don't think that means I don't like you.
I've just learned to be a little careful with my heart.
I'll watch you for a while.
I'll listen to your voice.
I'll see how gently you treat me.
I'm quietly asking myself...
**"Are you going to stay?"**
Give me a little time.
Because once I decide I can trust you...
I'll give you everything.
I'll follow you around.
I'll curl up beside you on the couch.
I'll roll over for belly rubs.
I'll become your little shadow.
Your snuggle buddy.
Your best friend.
I don't need a busy life.
Actually, I'd really love a peaceful one.
A quiet home.
A secure yard where I can run and play.
A comfortable couch.
Maybe some strawberries in the refrigerator.
And most importantly...
**Someone who stays.**
I'd love to be your only little girl so I can finally soak up all the love I've been missing.
I'm still learning to feel confident on a leash, so I need someone patient who won't rush me.
We can learn together.
One little walk at a time.
One adventure at a time.
One day at a time.
I'm ready to go home.
But this time...
I don't want just any home.
I've already had two of those.
**I want my forever home.**
So if you're thinking about adopting me, I only have one little request.
Please don't choose me just because I'm cute.
Choose me because you're ready to keep me.
Choose me when I'm playful.
Choose me when I'm shy.
Choose me when I need reassurance.
Choose me when my curly hair needs brushing.
Choose me when I'm young and silly.
And many, many years from now...
Choose me when I'm old and gray.
I've already watched two families walk away.
I don't want to watch another one leave.
So please...
**Don't be my next home.**
**Be my last home.**
Be the person who looks into my eyes and says...
*"You're safe now, Cinny."*
*"Nobody is giving you away again."*
*"You're finally home."*
I promise...
If you give me forever...
**I'll give you every piece of my heart.**
And I have so much love waiting for you.
Love,
**Cinnamon Roll (Cinny)**
**P.S. I'll bring the cuddles if you bring the strawberries. **
