Toby is a loving and active puppy whose tail wags at everyone he meets and gives the best gentle kisses. Sadly this sweet boy was abandoned at a vets office in Mississippi after his owners said they could no longer afford to keep him,
The vet called Wags who stepped in to help out.
We believe Toby was purchased from a breeder and is a maltipoo although there are no guarantees.
Toby has been neutered and fully vaccinated and is a happy healthy boy. He gets along great with other dogs and is friendly to everyone. He appears to be house trained, but will likely need a refresher when he adjust to a new home.
Toby is ready to take the transport from Mississippi to the northeast on Saturday July 18. He will make a wonderful member of the family.
We are asking a higher than usual adoption fee for Toby, $1200. He will come with all his Medical, proof of neuter vaccinations and microchip the adoption fee also pace his transport for Mississippi.
Please note that the woman who runs Wags takes care of almost 200 dogs completely on her own and lives in complete poverty. She finds stray dogs constantly, on the streets, dumped at local gas stations or in desolate fields, she is called constantly by members of the community who know that she will always take in a dog in need.
. Adoption fees are the only source of funding for Wags and help pay for the vaccines, microchip spay/neuter and the transport from Mississippi for the lucky dogs who get posted for adoption and fine loving homes. What little is left after those expenses helps pay for food and vet care for all the other dogs and of course, the multitude of other expenses that come from running a rescue.
Almost all of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. Sometimes were able to bring up dogs into a foster home in the northeast, we always need foster homes! We consider every adoption to be a trial, we want it to work, we want our adopters happy and our dogs happy.
