Marlo is a sweet and friendly boy who loves everyone he meets— he greets new people with cacophony of grunting and snorting sounds as he wiggles with excitement!
Marlo is on the small side for a French bulldog, he is only about 20 pounds. Marlo loves toys and bones, and he also loves to sunbathe, he finds a sunny spot outside for his naps. Marlo also has an affinity for finding small cozy spots to take naps, he loves to snuggle into a laundry basket, a cardboard box, any place he can get comfy.
His current owners are an elderly couple who love Marlo deeply, but are no longer able to care for him. They will keep him until a perfect home is found, they want the best for this sweet boy.
Marlo is trained on puppy pads, but will also go out to do his business. He walks well on a leash.
Marlo can be mixed with other dogs so he needs a home where he is the only pup.
Marlo is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccines. He does have allergies, but they are controlled with medicated baths and a daily Apoquel pill that is not expensive. He also should have drops as most Frenchies need, for dry eyes.
Marlo is being sponsored by the rescue Wags of Monroe County, a 501 C3 based in Mississippi where one woman cares for more than 200 stray dogs. His adoption fee helps her provide the food and vet care that those dogs desperately need.
Marlo comes with all his vet paperwork, he has been well taken care of and is a healthy boy with many good years of grunts and snorts and sloppy kisses ahead of him.
