Remi is a darling beagle who is so gentle and calm, she loves everyone she meets and gives the best sloppy kisses.
She was found as a stray when she showed up on the front porch of a home in Tupelo Mississippi. The homeowner called Wags who stepped in to take this sweet girl in.
Since then Remi has thrived, she loves the other dogs at the rescue and likes to follow her foster mom around. Remi has been spayed and vaccinated and is hearworm negative. She is a happy healthy girl.
Remi is ready to take the transport from Mississippi to the northeast on Saturday July 18. She will make a wonderful member of the family.
A little about Wags and adoption fees: The woman who runs Wags takes care of almost 200 dogs completely on her own, she finds stray dogs constantly and find it impossible to turn them away. Adoption fees are the only source of funding for Wags and help pay for the vaccines, microchip spay/neuter and the transport from Mississippi for the lucky dogs who get posted for adoption and fine loving homes. What little is left after those expenses helps pay for food and vet care for all the other dogs and of course, the multitude of other expenses that come from running a rescue.
Almost all of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. Sometimes were able to bring up dogs into a foster home in the northeast, we always need foster homes! We consider every adoption to be a trial, we want it to work, we want our adopters happy and our dogs happy.
