DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Hi! I'm Pup Lemon! I'm one of five adorable pups in the Fruit Litter — Apple, Strawberry, Lemon, Banana, and Grapefruit. We look like we might be Lab/Pit Bull mixes, but our exact recipe is a mystery. One thing everyone knows for sure? We are 100% sweet!
Sadly, my siblings and I have spent our puppyhood growing up in a shelter in Alabama. That's no place for a puppy, and I'm more than ready to trade shelter life for a loving home of my very own. I have so much love to give — I just need someone to give it to! I'm excellent with other dogs and at the perfect age for training, socialization, and learning all the important things a good family pup needs to know. Most of all, I'm ready to discover what it's like to have a family, a cozy place to sleep, and people who will love me forever.

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
