DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Hi! I'm Baby Piper, and I may have had a rough start, but I'm ready for my happily ever after! I was found by a dumpster behind a senior center in Georgia, and thankfully, I'm now safe and ready to find a family of my very own. I'm a beautiful brindle Plott Hound mix (best guess!) with a sweet personality to match. I'm friendly, playful, affectionate, and still just a puppy, which means I'm at the perfect age for training, socialization, and learning all about the good things life has to offer. After everything I've been through, I'm ready to learn what it means to be loved, safe, and part of a family. I deserve the very best — could that be with you? Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
