DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Boss! This adorable scruffy Lab/Terrier mix (best guess!) is Pup Boss. His story began in a crowded Alabama shelter where, sadly, far too many dogs never get the chance to make it out. Thankfully, Boss's luck changed when K-9 Lifesavers stepped up to rescue him and give him a second chance at finding the loving forever home he deserves. Boss is your typical sweet, playful pup who loves people, kids, and other dogs. With his friendly personality and affectionate nature, he has all the makings of an excellent family companion. At his young age, Boss is in his prime for training and socialization and ready to learn everything he needs to know about being the very best boy. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.

Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
