Meet Morgan! Morgan is a 7-year-old, 60-pound Lab mix who is happiest when she’s right by your side. She is incredibly affectionate, outgoing, curious, smart, and just a little silly. Morgan LOVES people and greets everyone she meets with a happy tail wag and the apparent belief that they are her new best friend. She is a total cuddlebug who would much rather be curled up next to you on the couch or bed than anywhere else. Her favorite nighttime activity is a little burst of zoomies followed by flopping into your lap and burrowing into your arms for ALL the love.
Morgan has a wonderfully manageable energy level. She enjoys walks and exploring but is equally content lounging around the house all day, making her a great fit for someone who enjoys both adventures and lazy days. She is an excellent leash walker, house-trained, and rides beautifully in the car. She is food motivated and very smart; already showing that she is eager to learn.

Morgan can be a little enthusiastic about getting into another dog's personal space, so she would do best with slow, structured introductions. She has not yet been observed in off-leash play, so her play style is still unknown. During her time at the shelter, they observed her walking appropriately alongside other dogs and remaining calm around dogs through fence lines - she has had no physical altercations with other dogs. Morgan does not need another dog in her home and could be perfectly happy as your one-and-only.

Her experience with children is limited but has been calm and appropriate around kids she has encountered on walks. She would likely do well with older children. Her compatibility with cats is unknown.

Morgan's ideal home is one where she can truly be part of the family. She doesn't need a super-active lifestyle—she just wants people who have time to spend with her. Whether it's a walk, a lazy day on the couch, or a good cuddle session, Morgan is happiest by your side. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who will give you all the love she has, Morgan is your girl!
