Peach - Labrador Retriever and English Pointer Dog for Adoption in Mooresville, North Carolina

Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time***

We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog.

Meet Peach! This adorable 12 month old Lab mix weighs around 35lbs and is spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find her forever family. Peach is a sweet, loving girl who may be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her gentle and curious personality starts to shine.

Peach loves being around other dogs and enjoys running, playing, and finding a sunny spot to relax. She has played with larger dogs and is good at understanding when they’ve had enough. She doesn’t need another dog in her home, but she certainly wouldn’t mind having a furry friend to keep her company!

With a moderate energy level, Peach is a wonderfully chill girl. She is fully house-trained, comfortable in her crate for up to six hours, and has no issues with food, treats, toys, or bones. She’s also a great car rider and has no trouble with stairs.

Peach is still learning about the big world around her. She’s just beginning her leash-walking journey and hasn’t had much experience yet, but she doesn’t pull. She can be a little nervous when meeting new people or dogs, but if you give her a little time and stay calm, she’ll warm up and come over to say hello.

One of Peach’s favorite things is a good full-body rub followed by some yummy treats! She’s still discovering her cuddly side, but she’s getting there. She hasn’t been around children yet, and her compatibility with cats is unknown, so those introductions would need to be handled thoughtfully.

Peach is a smart, sweet girl who doesn’t need a perfect home—she just needs a loving one. With patience, kindness, and a little time to build her confidence, she has all the makings of a wonderful family companion.

Peach is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas but can be transported to an approved adopter.
