Gracie - White German Shepherd and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Mooresville, North Carolina

We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog.

Gracie is a 7 month old, 22lbs white Shepherd mix who is sweet, silly, smart, and full of puppy energy! She is spayed, vaccinated, and up to date on her preventative medications. Gracie loves to play, explore, and be wherever her humans are.

This playful girl loves meeting other dogs and will happily sniff and approach new friends. She would love a friendly canine companion in her forever home, although it is not required. She also does well around children and has been around an 18-month-old with no issues.

Gracie is still very much a puppy and is learning all about the world! She is not fully leash trained yet and will need consistency and patience as she learns. She is puppy-pad trained for now and is still working on feeling comfortable pottying outside on the grass.

Gracie sleeps wonderfully in her crate overnight and can be crated for about 4–5 hours during the day. Because she is still teething and loves getting into things she shouldn’t, she will need to be safely crated whenever she is left alone. She would not be suited to a home where she is crated for a full 8-hour workday.

When she isn’t busy being a playful little whirlwind, Gracie is incredibly affectionate and cuddly. She loves curling up beside her humans and will even rest her head on them while she sleeps. She has shown no resource-guarding concerns and has no trouble navigating stairs.

Gracie would thrive in an active home with the time and energy to keep up with a growing puppy. She is curious, VERY smart, and wonderfully playful, with so much potential to grow into an amazing companion. Car rides are currently a work in progress as she gets carsick, but we’re hopeful she’ll outgrow this with time. If you’re looking for a fun-loving puppy who will keep you laughing, moving, and covered in cuddles, Gracie might just be your girl!
