Ace (aka "Lady," "Missy," "Princess") 🐾
Meet Ace, a snuggly, curious, and (very) friendly two-year-old who weighs thirty-eight pounds! She's people-oriented and can make friends anywhere — her tail is always wagging, and she's known to charm the whole neighborhood with pets and hugs wherever she goes. She's got the cutest white "gloves," and her ears tuck back adorably whenever she's getting snuggles.
Ace is adaptable and settled into her foster's apartment within twenty-four hours of arriving. She's incredibly friendly and affectionate, wagging her whole body when someone approaches and always up for a pet or a hug. She's potty trained and comfortable going to the bathroom anywhere outside, not just on grass. She sleeps right in bed with her people, being the ultimate snuggle bug, and she's good on a leash once she settles in from the initial excitement of seeing the world around her. She's still working on commands, but she comes when called and will sit for food or a treat. She's also getting more comfortable each day with the sounds and energy of city life.
Ace loves her walks and would do best with at least one longer walk a day (30 minutes or so), though she's also happy to just match the mood and chill when her people are relaxing. She's shown interest in playing with a ball and would likely love learning fetch! She puts her paw on you when she wants attention, adores kisses, and loves watching TV by your side.
Ace would be the perfect match for someone looking for a snuggle buddy and a shadow — she's the biggest lover girl, always either sleeping, watching what you're doing, or angling for pets. She'd do best with a decently active adopter who has good energy to match hers, and someone who doesn't mind sharing their bed (her favorite spot!). She'd be happy as an only dog or alongside another canine companion, and she's a great fit for apartment living.
