Meet Liberty (aka Libby)! This sweet, loving, active, curious, affectionate black lab puppy is thoroughly people-oriented and takes just a little time to warm up to new situations before she's ready to dive into play. She hasn't met a dog, person, or animal she doesn't like — she can be briefly nervous with new people, but that fades fast, and she's an absolute natural at the dog park, making friends easily (including a new 100-pound Golden Doodle bestie) and loving a good game of fetch. She's crate trained and genuinely likes cozy nooks to settle into, staying remarkably chill and even napping when left alone at home.

Liberty is potty trained and she's great on leash while still building up her sit and stay commands. Her days follow an active, puppy-friendly rhythm: a morning walk, an afternoon stroll, a longer evening walk with possible dog park time, and one last outing before bed. She's a big fan of chew toys for her teething and has a beloved stuffed frog friend she loves to tuck into a blanket nest she digs for herself. Liberty would thrive in a moderately active-to-active household that also has plenty of room for snuggling — she's every bit the cuddler as she is the playmate, and she makes an excellent work-from-home companion (complete with the occasional snore audible on Zoom calls). Her foster loves how she shows off her toys and asks for belly rubs — Liberty is ready to bring her sweet, energetic spirit to a family who wants both an adventure buddy and a devoted snuggler.
