Chandler is a 6 week old, male Great Pyr puppy that came in with 7 of his siblings and are expected to be ready for their forever homes in a few weeks. They're fluffy, curious, playful, and each already has their own unique personality. (see below) We are looking for foster homes for these pups, and if interested, please read the below GRRAND puppy guidelines to see if you qualify for foster or adoption of one of these puppies. All of these puppies will need homes with secure fenced yards as the Great Pyrenees like to roam and patrol, and they do this best in a secure and safe environment.
**** Puppies are a lot of work, and if you are interested in one of these puppies and have children, you should check out GRRAND policies page before you read further... In a nutshell, GRRAND policies stipulate a few important things that may stop you from applying
A: GRRAND will NOT place a puppy under the age of 6 months with families with children under 6 yrs old
B: Any applicant with children under the age of 16, will require a home with direct access to a securely fenced yard... so this means no apartments or condos
Apartments and condos can also be tricky for adult only households, as puppies can be whiny and loud, and may make too much noise for the neighbors as well
If you feel you are good to move forward and read more about these little ones... here you go:
As with all puppies, these kiddos will need a home where someone is home most of the time as they will need to be fed regularly, and let to go outside consistently and constantly ALL DAY LONG so potty training can be a breeze. They will be looking for homes with fenced in yards and families with LOTS of time and patience to socialize and work with a puppy so they can grow up to be good dogs! Exercise and direction are a must for these little ones as a tired puppy is a good puppy!! They have boundless amounts of playful energy and need a constant outlet for it! They just eat, pee, poop, play and repeat ALL DAY!!! It is a lot of fun, but it is a lot of work, and if you don't have time for all of that, a small puppy may not be for you!
Along with that wonderful puppy breath, comes those razor sharp puppy teeth too, so families must understand there needs to be constant supervision as children need to learn to respect an animal and puppies need to learn boundaries.

The Thoughtful Explorer
Chandler is one of the boys in the litter, and if his sweet face doesn't melt your heart immediately, his personality will. Like all Great Pyrenees puppies, Chandler is discovering the world one paw-step at a time. New sounds, new people, new experiences—everything is an adventure. He seems to approach life with a thoughtful curiosity, taking a moment to figure things out before diving in.
Today, Chandler has a future filled with possibility and a family out there waiting to love him. We expect Chandler to grow into a large, loyal companion with the gentle nature and devoted heart Great Pyrenees are famous for. If you're looking for a best friend who will grow up alongside your family, Chandler might be your guy!
These puppies are helping close one chapter and begin another. Their parents will never again have to raise puppies in these conditions, and these eight little ones will never know the hardship that marked their beginning. They only need one more thing: families of their own!
