female, large, adult
DESCRIPTION
Jeanie is a 4 year old, female Golden Retriever/Great Pyresees mix, at about 85ish lbs. She was rescued by a family that has peacocks they wanted to be protected, but it was found Jeanie just wanted to chase the birds instead of be friends with them, so they contacted GRRAND.
We are told by her previous owners "She is a fabulous dog, and we are sad it didn't work out with our peacocks, but we need a dog who will protect them and not chase them. This dog is a delight- she is polite and will not soil where she sleeps- she waits to be walked to go to the bathroom. She gets so happy when she sees people- but she does not jump on them. She was living on a farm and she is not at all aggressive. Jeanie does not know commands like sit or stay or come, but she is very easy to manage. I would keep her in a heartbeat but my peacocks who do not respond well to chasing."
As we learn more, we will update, but if you would like to meet this pretty girl, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org
