DESCRIPTION
Maggie is a 4 year old, 55ish lb, beautful female Golden Retriever. She came to GRRAND after a shelter reached out because they were full. The kennel staff says she is just so sweet and precious!
She is a bit timid and seems to have a fear of men, and prefers the female kennel staff vs the male kennel staff, and she is going to need a home with women or a woman in the house. She will also need a secure above ground fenced in yard as she is a flight risk due to some fear issues and her foster or adoptive family will need to be committed to being outside with her while outside. Maggie is housebroken and likes other playful dogs, but apparently is not a candidate for a home with chickens. At this time, it may be best for her to go to a home with no small children as they could be too much for her.
We are still learning about Maggie, but if you would like to meet her, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org
