DESCRIPTION
Bella is a 4 year old, female Golden Retriever at about 80ish lbs, who was rescued from a very neglectful situation. She came to GRRAND in pretty bad shape, as she is very overweight, (was usually given only table scraps) had some skin issues, raw and bleeding paw pads and nails so long they were curled under and a couple broken teeth. This poor girl was kept in a pen or the kitchen her whole life! She has since been vetted, is on the mend and desperately searching for a forever family that will give her all of the comforts of a soft doggie bed, good dog food, and a family that will smother her with all of the love and affection she can take in. She LOVES all people but is dog reactive, (she had never seen another dog until she was rescued) so she will need to be the only dog in the home.
Bella has a very sweet disposition and does not like to be left alone (as that is how she spent most of her life) so she follows any person that moves around as she just wants love and stability. She will need a family with the time and patience to help her with a diet and exercise regimen (we are told she likes to play ball) and getting her acclimated to what the life of a well loved dog is all about.
She is needing a foster or forever family to help get her out of the kennel. We are still learning about Bella, so please check back later for more info, but if you would like to meet her, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org
