Ruby #7179 - Golden Retriever Dog Available for Adoption in Louisville, Kentucky
RUBY #7179
Golden Retriever
🇺🇸
Louisville, Kentucky
June 2nd
female, large, adult
DESCRIPTION
Ruby is a very happy 6.5 year old, 90ish lb, female Golden Retriever being rehomed as her person is moving and can't take Ruby with her.
Ruby is house-trained and crate-trained but only uses the crate on rare occasions, and sleeps at the foot of the bed at night. We are told "Ruby loves everybody, knows some basic commands, is extremely friendly and loves attention! This girl loves to be scratched and brushed and is just a really good girl." Ruby would likely do the best with an active family who can play and exercise her to help her lose some of that extra weight to help her joints stay healthy. She gets along with other dogs too. She gets a bit excited when initially meeting new people, but calms down nicely after a short time.
If you would like to meet Ruby, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org
