DESCRIPTION
Meet Leroy, a four-and-a-half-year-old German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix weighing 84 pounds.
Leroy is the definition of low-key; he enjoys life at a relaxed pace and is happiest just hanging out with his people, going for strolls, or lounging nearby while the world goes by.
Leroy is great on leash and walks like a gentleman, making him an excellent companion for casual walks and everyday outings. He also travels well in the car, so he’s a solid buddy for road trips, errands, or adventures where a steady, calm presence is appreciated.
Friendly and social, Leroy has done well with other dogs he’s met through his finder and seems to enjoy canine company when introductions are appropriate. He has a mellow, easygoing nature that makes him a soothing presence in the home.
As a large dog, Leroy comes with a bit of classic big-boy charm — including a tendency to drool, especially when he’s relaxed or anticipating something exciting (like treats or attention). He’s not high-energy or demanding; instead, he’s the type of companion who fits into the rhythm of the household without much fuss.
One important note: Leroy will chase cats, so he will need a cat-free home or very careful management in multi-species environments.
Overall, Leroy is a friendly, laid-back, lovable big guy looking for a home that appreciates a steady companion with a gentle heart and a calm outlook on life.
