Abe came to us as an owner surrender when his family could no longer keep him, and he is now looking for a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and secure again.

Abe is a gentle, shy cat who takes a little time to warm up in new environments. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality begins to shine through. He’s not the type to demand attention, but he quietly enjoys affection on his own terms — especially those coveted booty rubs, which he absolutely loves once he trusts you.

He does best in a calm, patient home where he won’t be rushed and can slowly build confidence at his own pace. With kindness and consistency, Abe shows just how affectionate and tender he can be, often choosing to stay nearby his trusted people and quietly soak in their presence.

Abe may be a little reserved at first, but beneath that shy exterior is a loving cat who just needs time to blossom. For someone willing to offer patience and gentle encouragement, he will be a deeply rewarding companion who expresses his love in soft, subtle, and very special ways.
