Meet Zoro, a seven month old Pit Bull/Cocker Spaniel mix weighing 25 pounds.

Zoro is proof that a little bit of everything can turn into something truly special. This handsome boy was owner surrendered when his previous home had too many animals, but he’s ready for a fresh start with a family of his very own.

Zoro’s DNA results make him quite the unique mix—32.3% Pit Bull, 22.6% Chihuahua, 10% Chow Chow, 7.5% Cocker Spaniel, and 27.6% "Supermutt"—and somehow it all comes together in the most wonderful way. The supermutt contains Husky, Boxer, Poodle and German Shepherd! He’s a fantastic medium size, making him a great fit for many different lifestyles.

At heart, Zoro is a sweet and gentle soul. He can be a little unsure in new situations and tends to be on the submissive side, but once he feels safe, his loving personality really begins to shine. He enjoys calm affection, soft reassurance, and being close to his people.

Zoro would do best with a patient, understanding home that can help build his confidence and show him the world isn’t such a scary place. With time, kindness, and positive experiences, he’s sure to blossom into an incredibly loyal and devoted companion.
