Milou is a spunky girl, just under 2 months old, and already showing the intelligence, drive, and spark you’d expect from a Dutch Shepherd/Malinois mix. This beautiful girl is growing quickly, picking up on new things with ease, and taking in the world around her with curiosity and confidence. She’s bright, engaged, and already doing a fantastic job with early socialization. Milou isn’t the kind of puppy who fades into the background—she’s the one right by your side, ready for whatever comes next.

Milou’s story is one of resilience and second chances. Her mom is a Dutch Shepherd mix, and her dad appears to be a full Malinois. She and her siblings were rescued from an area known for dog fighting—but that life is behind her now. Today, Milou is looking ahead to a future filled with purpose, structure, and a family who understands just how special she is.

It’s important to know—Milou is not a “go with the flow” kind of puppy. Breeds like Dutch Shepherds and Malinois are incredibly rewarding, but they require commitment. She will need an active, experienced adopter who understands the importance of both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Training, structure, and a “job” will be key to helping Milou grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. Whether it’s agility, scent work, hiking, or advanced obedience, she’s going to thrive with someone who has a plan.

We are currently accepting applications so Milou can head straight to her forever home once she’s spayed mid-May and ready to travel. We will be conducting thorough screenings to ensure each puppy is placed in the right home. Applicants with breed experience—or a clear vision for her training and lifestyle—will be given strong preference.

Milou is one of five puppies (3 boys and 2 girls), and we’re happy to introduce you to her siblings as well in case she finds her perfect match quickly.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $525 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.
