Meet Sarafina!

Sarafina’s story didn’t begin the way any puppy’s should. When our volunteers were called out to help a mama dog and her newborn puppies, they walked into a heartbreaking situation. The conditions were beyond terrible. One puppy had already been lost, and another tiny baby was found caught in a chain link fence while flies swarmed around. It’s the kind of scene that stays with you long after you leave.

But this little girl? She refused to let that be the end of her story.

Now Sarafina is safe in foster care, and honestly? She is making up for lost time. Her days are spent romping around with her siblings, collecting cuddles from her humans, and finding creative new ways to turn ordinary moments into puppy chaos. She’s playful, affectionate, curious about everything, and has that perfect puppy balance of “tiny troublemaker” and “sweet baby angel". One minute she’s bouncing around like she owns the world, and the next she’s melting into your lap for a nap.

Sarafina is growing into the kind of dog who will be someone’s loyal sidekick for years to come. She’s young enough to adjust beautifully to other pets and would do well with kiddos sturdy enough to keep up with an active, growing puppy.

Of course, puppies are work. There will be chewed toys, early mornings, zoomies through the house, and lots of training along the way. But there will also be laughter, unconditional love, and the kind of bond only a rescue dog can give.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $450 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. Note: We cannot guarantee breed mix or full grown size. Both are estimated based on any known history and physical observations. We cannot guarantee she will stay under 60lbs.
