Meet Nina Simone!

Like her legendary namesake, 2 year old Nina Simone is a little bit of everything—soulful, expressive, and impossible to ignore. This beautiful tuxedo girl has a personality that keeps you on your toes in the best way: she’s sweet and affectionate, but with just enough sass to remind you she’s got opinions of her own.

Nina’s story began as part of a TNR (trap, neuter, return) project, but it didn’t take long to realize she didn’t belong back out there. She was simply too loving, too people-oriented, and too ready for the good life. Now, she’s looking for a safe, cozy indoor home where she can finally settle in and be cherished the way she deserves.

She gets along fine with dogs and can coexist fine with other cats, though she may occasionally serve a little attitude if they get on her nerves (we all have our moments, right?). What she really loves is a soft bed, a sunny window to watch the world go by, and a human (or two) to call her own. She’s comfortable being picked up, enjoys cuddles, and has that special way of making you feel chosen.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This cat is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $175 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our cats are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.
