At just 3 months old, Mozart may be the last of his litter still waiting for his forever home… but we think he’s been saving the sweetest symphony for last.

This handsome boy’s story didn’t start out easy. Mozart and his siblings were abandoned as newborns. Thanks to dedicated care and round-the-clock bottle feeding, he and five of his siblings pulled through—though heartbreakingly, one didn’t make it. Through it all, Mozart has grown into a gentle, loving little pup who’s ready to find his place in the world.

While his siblings may have been the bold “forte” types, Mozart is more of a soft, tender “piano”. He’s the shyest of the bunch, but underneath that quiet demeanor is the sweetest little cuddlebug you could ever meet. Once he feels safe, he absolutely melts into your lap—offering kisses, snuggles, and all the love he’s been saving up.

Mozart is just a small pup in a big world, and he prefers to take things at his own tempo. A lower-traffic home where he can build confidence at his own pace would be music to his ears. We’d love for his future family to continue helping him grow into a confident, well-socialized pup—and having another friendly dog in the home could really help show him the ropes.

Don’t let his shy start fool you—Mozart still has plenty of playful, puppy energy and curiosity. And yes, he is incredibly handsome… a true work of art in every sense.

Mozart is doing great with potty training with a regular routine. And he's young enough that he could learn to co-exist with kitties if needed. Because of his shy nature at first, kids old enough to give dogs space would be best.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $450 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.
