Meet Rocky!

Rocky is an absolutely adorable 10 to 12 month old Chiweenie mix weighing around 16 pounds, and this handsome little guy is just about as perfect as they come! He’s essentially full grown at this age, making him such a wonderful size for someone looking for a smaller companion. Rocky has the BEST personality, an incredibly sweet temperament, and so much love to give. He’s truly just a good, good boy, and we cannot say enough wonderful things about him!

Rocky came into our care after his previous family experienced an accidental litter and made the decision to surrender him, another female Chiweenie, and their puppies. While it was certainly a big change for this little family, we’re grateful they were entrusted to our care so we could get everyone the veterinary attention they needed and find them wonderful forever homes. Rocky has adjusted beautifully to foster care and has shown us just what an incredible little companion he is. He’s affectionate, easygoing, playful, and seems to love everyone he meets!

One of the things we absolutely LOVE about Rocky is how wonderful he is with children! He’s accustomed to being around kids of all ages, from little ones to teenagers, and does fantastic with them. He loves cuddling up beside them, relaxing together, and joining in on playtime. He’s also done wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys having some good chew toys to keep himself entertained. Rocky is not a big barker whatsoever! In fact, his foster mom says she’s barely even heard him make a sound. He’s just such a sweet, well-mannered little boy with a personality that’s hard not to fall in love with!

Rocky is also doing fantastic with his household manners! He’s both crate trained and house trained and has been doing wonderfully with both in his foster home. He happily goes potty outside while on a leash, enjoys going for walks, and rides beautifully in the car. Whether you’re heading out for a little adventure, taking a leisurely walk, or simply spending a relaxing day at home, Rocky would be thrilled to be right there with you. He’s such a wonderful combination of playful, affectionate, and easygoing, and we truly believe he could fit beautifully into many different types of homes.

Rocky is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and will have his health certificate prior to adoption. This little boy is truly perfection in a small package! He’s loving, friendly, well-mannered, wonderful with children, great with other dogs, and has such an incredible temperament. We have no doubt he’s going to make one very lucky family incredibly happy.
