Meet Dingo!

Dingo is an absolutely adorable 6 to 8 month old Chiweenie mix weighing around 11 pounds, and this little guy is just as sweet as can be! We’re guessing he’ll be somewhere around 15 to 18 pounds full grown, although that’s just our best estimate. He’s an incredibly loving, friendly, happy little boy with such a wonderful temperament and his whole life ahead of him!

Sadly, Dingo was found dumped on the side of the road before a kind Good Samaritan came along and rescued him. When he first came into our care, this poor little guy was absolutely covered in fleas. Thankfully, he’s since been treated and is doing wonderfully! Despite his rough start to life, Dingo has remained such a sweet, trusting, affectionate little puppy who seems so grateful for every bit of love and attention he receives. He’s truly just a good, good boy who deserves a wonderful family to call his own!

Dingo has been doing great in foster care and has shown us what a wonderful little companion he’s going to be! He’s friendly, playful, and has done well with the other dogs he’s met. Sometimes larger dogs can be a little intimidating to him at first, but he warms up quickly once he realizes they’re friendly. He also loves spending time outside, exploring, and discovering the world around him. Dingo hasn’t had the opportunity to spend time with children under 10 yet, but given his sweet temperament, we think he could do well with respectful younger children with proper, slow introductions.

Dingo is still very much a puppy and is working hard on learning all the important household manners! He’s getting used to sleeping in his crate at nighttime and is making progress with house training. He’s learning to go potty outside and has also been using pee pads inside the home. Like any young puppy, he’ll need a family willing to continue his training, establish a consistent routine, and give him plenty of patience and positive reinforcement as he settles into his new home. He’s such a sweet, eager little boy with so much potential!

Dingo will be neutered, brought up to date on vaccinations, and will have his health certificate prior to adoption. He’s truly such a wonderful little puppy with a heart of gold! After everything he’s already been through, Dingo deserves nothing less than a lifetime of love, security, and happiness.
