Meet Squeaky!

Squeaky is a precious 7 year old long haired Chihuahua mix weighing just 5 pounds. This tiny little girl has the sweetest soul and is finally getting the chance to experience the life every dog deserves. After spending her entire life as a breeder dog, Squeaky is learning what it means to be safe, loved, and cared for. She never had a family of her own, never knew the comfort of being someones beloved companion, and because of that, she is very undersocialized and understandably fearful of the world around her.

Everything is new for Squeaky. New people, new places, and new experiences can be overwhelming for her, so she is looking for a calm, patient family that will let her move at her own pace. Once shes being held and realizes shes safe, her little body relaxes and she enjoys the comfort and security of being close to her person. Every day she grows just a little braver, and watching her gain confidence is incredibly rewarding.

Squeaky absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a kind, confident canine companion who can help show her that the world isnt such a scary place. She also does well with cats. Because she is so timid, we feel she would be happiest in a quieter home without young children, where her family understands that trust takes time and is willing to celebrate all of the little victories along the way.

She sleeps well in her crate or playpen, is working on her house training, and currently uses pee pads. Like everything else in her life, shes learning one step at a time. Squeaky is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and will come with a health certificate.
