Meet Josie!

Josie is an 8 year old Shepherd mix weighing approximately 100 pounds, and while she may be a big girl, her gentle and easygoing personality is what truly makes her special.

This sweet senior found herself in rescue through no fault of her own after her owner fell on hard times and was no longer able to keep her. Despite the changes shes experienced, Josie has remained the same loving, loyal, and resilient companion shes always been.

Josie is the definition of laid-back. Shes house-trained, crate-trained, and has wonderful manners. She doesnt ask for muchjust a soft place to rest, a loving human by her side, and the occasional adventure. Her absolute favorite activity is going for car rides. In fact, if Josie had it her way, shed happily spend her days riding shotgun and taking in the world from the passenger seat.

She gets along well with other dogs and coexists peacefully with them, but shes reached the stage in life where she prefers a calmer lifestyle. Josie would do best with other easygoing dogs who respect her space and arent constantly looking for a playmate. Shes happy to share her home with canine companions; she just prefers a relaxed atmosphere where everyone can enjoy their own thing.

Josie is incredibly devoted to her people and simply enjoys being nearby. Whether youre watching TV, reading a book, or heading out for a drive, shell be content just spending time with you.

At 8 years old, Josie is ready to enjoy her golden years with a family who will cherish her for the wonderful dog she is. Shes past the puppy chaos and has settled into being a calm, loving companion who appreciates the simple things in life. Josie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and will receive a health certificate prior to adoption.
