Meet Sukie!

Sukie is a 3 to 4 year old Pug who weighs about 20 pounds and is ready to trade her past life for the loving forever family she has always deserved. Like many breeder release dogs, Sukie spent the first few years of her life living in a kennel, but those days are behind her. Since arriving in foster care, she has been learning just how wonderful life can be, and she is blossoming more every day.

Sukie is an incredibly sweet, gentle girl who may be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly with a little patience and kindness. Once she trusts you, youll discover a loving companion who simply wants to be part of the family. She has the adorable squishy face, expressive eyes, and charming personality that make Pugs so easy to fall in love with.

She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is thriving in a foster home with several canine companions. Because she enjoys chasing cats, we think shed do best in a home without cats, or with a very dog-savvy feline that is comfortable around playful dogs.

Sukie is doing a great job learning her house manners and is making wonderful progress with house training. She sleeps quietly in her crate every night and does best with a consistent routine and frequent opportunities to go outside. She could also benefit from shedding a few pounds, and her forever family can help her stay happy and healthy with regular walks, playtime, and a balanced diet.

Sukie is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and will receive her health certificate prior to adoption. After spending years waiting for a chance at a real life, shes ready to discover what it feels like to be someones beloved family member. Could that family be yours?
