Meet Sango!

At just 412 pounds, Sango may be tiny, but this 4-year-old Chihuahua has plenty of personality packed into her little frame. Sango came to us with three other Chihuahuas after their owner passed away and the family lost their home. Needless to say, her world has been turned completely upside down.

While her family described her as friendly, Sango is still learning that she can trust again. She allows handling and wants to feel safe, but she's understandably nervous and needs patience as she adjusts to all the changes in her life. Putting on a collar or leash can be especially scary for her, so she'll need a family willing to take things slow and help build her confidence at her own pace.

Sango is what we lovingly call a "spicy little chicken nugget"- small, feisty, and full of opinions. Because of her timid nature, we're looking for an experienced adopter who understands shy, sensitive dogs and can appreciate the rewards that come with earning their trust. A calm home with another friendly small dog to show her the ropes would be ideal.
At this time, Sango is looking for an adult only home.

With patience, understanding, and plenty of love, we know this little girl has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion. If you have a soft spot for tiny dogs with big personalities, Sango may just be the perfect match for you.

She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested.
