Meet Missy

At 8 years old and just 8 pounds, this beautiful apricot poodle is ready to leave her past behind and finally be someone's cherished companion. Missy was surrendered after being retired from breeding.

In our care, Missy has been nothing but sweet, gentle, and friendly but her former owner mentioned she could be snappy at times. Now that she's no longer on the defensive, she's shown her true personality allowing handling with ease and happily accepting attention from our volunteers. It's clear she needed the chance to feel safe and loved.

Missy is an older girl who deserves all the good things she's been missing - a cozy home, kind hands, and a family who will spoil her like she always deserved. She has proven she is ready for that good life. Now she just needs someone to give her that chance.

Could you be the one to give Missy her happily-ever-after? Out of abundance of caution, Missy is looking for a home with no young children.

She will come spayed, vaccinated, 4dx tested and microchipped. She is also scheduled for a dental evaluation and will receive the dental as the vet deems necessary.
