Meet Anthony!

At approximately 3 years old and 13 pounds, Anthony is a Shih Tzu with a heart as big as his personality. He was surrendered, along with two other dogs, by a Lancaster County breeder when he was no longer wanted. Thankfully, those days are behind him, and he's ready to discover what it means to be a cherished family member.

Anthony is, quite simply, one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. Taking pictures of him was nearly impossible because all he wanted to do was climb into our laps, snuggle close, and soak up affection. This little guy lives for human companionship and is happiest when he's curled up next to his favorite person.

Friendly, social, and overflowing with love, Anthony greets everyone he meets with enthusiasm and a wagging tail. He's the kind of dog who instantly brightens a room and makes people smile just by being himself. In fact, "sunshine" is probably the best way to describe him - when Anthony walks into a room, everything feels a little happier.

Anthony is looking for a family that will appreciate his loving nature and return the endless affection he so freely gives. He has so much love to share and is ready to spend the rest of his life being someone's loyal companion, cuddle buddy, and best friend.
