Meet Kobe - a total heart-stealer wrapped in a handsome German Shepherd package.

At 2 years old and 63 pounds, Kobe has already proven himself to be as resilient as he is lovable. Found as a stray alongside his lab buddy Lorenzo, the two were brought to ACCT Philly by the police, where Kobe quickly made a great impression. He was noted to be very friendly and social, a description that couldn’t be more spot-on.

Since joining our rescue, Kobe has continued to shine. He has a happy, alert, and playful personality that makes him a joy to have around. He’s the kind of dog who greets the world with a wagging tail and an eager spirit, always ready for whatever comes next, whether that’s a walk, a car ride (he’s great in the car!), or just some quality hangout time with his people.

Kobe has done well in dog meets and enjoys making canine friends. He can be a little enthusiastic in his play style, sometimes coming on a bit strong, but he’s easily redirected and does a great job taking cues and corrections from other dogs. He’s social, adaptable, and clearly wants to do the right thing.
Most of all, Kobe is just the best boy - friendly, relaxed, and full of love to give.

He’s ready to leave his stray days behind and start his next chapter with a family who will appreciate everything that makes him so special.

He will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. Kobe did test positive for heartworm, so he is currently undergoing treatment for it. He can be adopted during the treatment and the rescue will remain financially responsible for it. He will receive his treatment in Media, Pa.
