Bluu, is a handsome 77-pound, 5 year old German Shepherd who is looking for a fresh start after being surrendered when his owner moved and was unable to take him along.

According to his former owner, Bluu is a happy, friendly boy who loves to play, enjoys staying active, walks nicely on leash, gets along well with other dogs, and knows his basic commands.

Since arriving with us, Bluu has understandably been more cautious as he adjusts to such a major life change. He appears most comfortable around men, likely reflecting the home environment he was accustomed to, and he's taking his time building trust with new people. Beneath that cautious exterior is a smart, loyal shepherd who is looking for someone willing to give him the guidance and stability he craves.

Bluu is searching for an adult-only, German Shepherdexperienced home with a confident handler who understands the breed and can provide the structure, consistency, and leadership he needs to thrive. He will do best with an adopter who is patient, committed to earning his trust, and ready to help him continue building confidence in the world around him.
