** In order to adopt a kitten from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitten and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You may need to bring the kitten back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay/neuter surgery**

Prepare yourself for kitten perfection, in the form of a tiny little tortie named, Hazel! Tiny Hazel’s story began on the side of a road, where she was found with her sister. While her sister has already found her forever family, sweet Hazel is still waiting for her happily-ever-after. Thankfully this little doll is living in a loving foster home, and currently enjoying every second of it!

Sweet Hazel has an estimated birthdate of 7/16/26, so she's just 9 weeks old.

According to her foster mom, Hazel is absolutely perfect and has completely stolen her heart. She is the ideal blend of playful kitten energy and affectionate cuddles, always ready for a game and just as happy to curl up for snuggle time afterward. Her favorite toy is her beloved stuffed Lambchop, and it will be sent along with her when she heads home with her lucky adopter.

Hazel’s foster mom says she is truly the most perfect kitten she has ever fostered, and that is saying a lot! With her loving personality, gentle nature, and endless charm, it is easy to see why everyone who meets her falls in love.

Hazel also adores other kittens and would love to be adopted with a feline friend. If you're looking for a dynamic duo, several other HSMC kittens would be thrilled to become Hazel’s lifelong companion.

This sweetheart would do well in a home that already has kitties, and would do just fine with a gentle, cat-friendly dog as well. She would be a wonderful friend for kids too, but care must be taken to protect her tiny size. It's imperative that this tiny girl be protected from injury from larger animals, getting stepped or sat on, or injured by children who may be unintentionally rough with her.
