Scooby is the definition of a GOOD BOY. This big, beautiful Great Dane is friendly with absolutely everyone he meets kids, adults, other dogs, even the cats in his foster home. He’s a cuddler, a kisser, and a world class leaner who melts right into you for affection. He currently weighs 94lbs and has an estimated birth date of 08/24/2022 (4 years old)

He walks great on leash, loves car rides, and is fully house trained. In his foster home, he’s been nothing but a dream: polite, sweet, social, and always ready to play with their boxer. He needed a little extra TLC, and his foster family has given him the love and stability to really shine and shine he does.

If you’re looking for a gentle giant who’s affectionate, easygoing, and wonderful in a home environment, Scooby is ready to be your new best friend.

**In Order to adopt an unspayed/unneutered dog from HSMC, You must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "Foster to Adopt" the dog and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You will need to bring the dog back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay/neuter surgery**

Our adoption fees vary, Shelter Dogs are $180, Prison Dogs are $250, Puppies are $300, and Popular Pure-Breeds are $400. The price includes: a Home Again Microchip, set of shots, de-worming, heartworm testing (if old enough), spay or neuter, and a 1 year rabies shot (if old enough). All dogs adopted must leave with a $21 county license.
