LuLu - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in West Jefferson, Ohio

Meet the lovely LuLu! She is a stunning miniature panther with soulful eyes, a silky black coat, and a personality that's every bit as beautiful as she is. This lovely lass was found as a stray kitty and brought to the shelter by a kind person who wanted her to have her shot at a loving and much deserved forever home.
LuLu has an estimated birthdate of 8/2/20, so she's about 6 years young.

This sweet girl is affectionate and friendly, but she also knows what she likes and isn't afraid to have opinions. Think of her as a confident queen rather than a diva. She enjoys attention, companionship, and being part of your daily routine, which would make her an excellent work-from-home assistant. Need help answering emails? LuLu would be happy to supervise from your desk. Taking a Zoom call? She may volunteer for a guest appearance, and make you look good in the process!

LuLu seems to get along with other cats, but she would also be perfectly content as your one-and-only feline companion if that's what you're looking for. We don't yet know how she feels about dogs since she hasn't met any at the shelter. She should do well with children who understand how to be gentle and respectful with animals.

One important thing to know about LuLu is that she has been declawed. While this was done before she came into our care, we want to be transparent with potential adopters. Declawing is a practice that we do not support or recommend. Despite the name, declawing is not simply a nail trim, and cats who have been declawed can sometimes have special considerations throughout their lives. Fortunately, LuLu has not let that define her, and she's ready to focus on what really matters: finding a loving family of her own.

Our adoption fee is $100.00 for kittens up to 6 months of age and $80 for cats 7 months and older. It includes: a microchip, spay or neuter, set of shots, de-worming, and a 1-year rabies vaccine (if old enough). Fees can be made by cash or credit card.
