Eva - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Pickering, Ontario

Eva is a petite girl with big round eyes, an adorable pixie face and lush soft fur in a striking marbled pattern. She was kept for several years by a hoarder in a filthy, flea-ridden house. When AVA stepped in, there were 65 unfixed cats, many of them Eva’s offspring or descendants. Poor Eva was underfed and scared.

Since then, she has been to the vet to be spayed, vaccinated and treated for fleas and spent some time in foster. She’s now looking forward to finding her permanent home where she’ll have comfortable surroundings, soft places to sleep, regular meals with wet food, playtime, pets, chin rubs, cuddles and lots of love and attention.

Eva is gentle and sweet-natured. She enjoys attention and getting pets, although it will take her a bit of time to feel safe and comfortable in new surroundings. Once she does, you’ll find her to be an easy-going, low maintenance companion.

Eva will do best in a relatively calm home with understanding people who will give her the time and support she needs to feel safe and cared for.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two de-worming treatments and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
