Dakota is a beautiful fluffy boy with a gorgeous coat. He was rescued from a large outdoor colony and has had a hard start to life. In his time in foster Dakota has been learning to trust and love humans. He’s learned that although he’s had some hard moments, with the right person he will flourish. With some patience and consistency Dakotas loving, affectionate, and playful personality will come out! Dakota loves playing with toys, especially wand toys and has loved bonding with humans during play time. When Dakota feels comfortable he is the sweetest, cuddliest boy who loves to be pet. He absolutely loves treats as well!

Something that makes Dakota a very special boy is the way he cares for other kitties. In his time in foster he’s become very close with his friend Percy. He’s even helped teach Percy how to love humans as well! They love to give each other head bumps constantly with tons of purrs! They always play or cuddle with each other. Dakota loves to watch over Percy and guide him through interactions. They bring out the best in each other and would love to find their forever home together. Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
