Ash came from a hoarding situation and, because of her past, she needs time, patience, and a gentle approach to feel safe and comfortable around people. She may be shy at first, but she’s slowly learning that humans can bring good things.

Ash will happily accept treats right from your hand, as long as you approach her gently and give her the time she needs. She also enjoys being petted with a scratcher tool, which is a great way to help her feel comfortable while building trust. And if you really want to win her over, just bring out the wet food!

Ash may need a little extra patience, but every small step she takes toward trusting you is incredibly rewarding. She’s looking for someone who will let her set the pace and show her that she’s safe and loved.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
