From her foster mom, Rosalinda:
Porsche is a beautiful, laid-back girl who seems to know she's pretty. She has a gorgeous floofy tail that she likes to strut around with, and every once in a while she'll hop onto the bathroom counter and admire herself in the mirror. Can you blame her?
Porsche is friendly and easygoing. When you enter the room, she usually greets you with a big stretch and comes over ready for some attention. She'll lean into your pets, purr, and make biscuits, but she's also perfectly happy finding a cozy spot nearby and relaxing on her own. She's comfortable being picked up and carried and enjoys affection without needing to be the center of attention all day.
Most of the time Porsche is very calm, but she still has a playful side and gets the occasional case of the zoomies. She also loves her scratching post and would appreciate a home with a cat tree, scratching surfaces, and some toys for when she's feeling playful.
She's been around lots of people and has done well with adults and children. She has also handled car rides in her crate and vet visits remarkably well. Her one big objection to modern life is the vacuum cleaner, which she prefers to avoid entirely.
Porsche would likely be happiest as the only cat. She's been a protective mama during her time in foster care, so we haven't had the opportunity to see how she would adjust to an unfamiliar adult cat. I'm also not sure how she would feel about dogs. She is currently living with her last kitten, Syrup, and they're buddies, but they are not bonded and can be adopted separately.
Porsche's story began in December 2025 when she unexpectedly appeared on my porch. She was so clean, soft, friendly, and beautiful that we were sure someone must be looking for her. We searched for an owner and had her checked for a microchip, but no one was found. Porsche settled into a heated cat house on the porch and began greeting each of us every morning for breakfast. A few months later, we realized her belly was growing. Porsche was pregnant.
She was brought inside just as we were preparing to move, and the very next day she delivered four healthy kittens. Through raising her babies and moving homes three times during the sale and move, Porsche remained the same calm, sweet girl. She was a wonderful mama, and now her kittens are grown and her job is done.
Now Porsche is ready for a home of her own, preferably one with plenty of cozy places to relax, a good scratching post, people to give her pets when she asks, and perhaps a bathroom mirror positioned at just the right height.

At Meowtown, we don't have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They're not waiting to become housecats... they already are. They just need a house.
