Lucien - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Fort Worth, Texas

Lucien is sweet, social, affectionate, and absolutely full of bad ideas.

He's a confident, high-energy boy who loves people and wants to be involved in whatever is going on. He's also incredibly curious, and you can pretty much guarantee that Lucien will come up with at least one questionable idea every day and immediately act on it. He's hilarious to watch because you truly never know what he's going to do next. If something occurs to Lucien, he's going to investigate it. Climb it? Probably. Chase it? Sure. See what happens if he does something he's never tried before? Absolutely. And Lucien doesn't necessarily keep his adventures to himself. He's good with other cats and has been known to convince them to participate in his shenanigans too.

Underneath all that chaos is a very social little guy. Lucien loves everyone, wants to be around his people, and seeks out plenty of attention and interaction. He's not the type of kitten who quietly entertains himself in another room all day. He wants to be where the action is, and quite often, he's the one creating it.

Lucien would be happiest with a family that enjoys an active, playful cat and can appreciate his mischievous personality. Another playful cat would be a great match for him, especially one willing to keep up with his energy.

Lucien was found in a garage with his brothers and their feral mama. The kittens were fairly easy to pick up, while their mom had to be humanely trapped. Despite their beginning, all four boys turned out to be very sweet.

His brothers Rhysand, Cassian, and Azriel are also available for adoption. They aren't bonded and don't need to be adopted together, but if you're considering two kittens, one of his brothers would give Lucien a familiar friend and willing partner for all those adventures.

Lucien is funny, affectionate, outgoing, endlessly entertaining, and probably already thinking about what he's going to do next.

At Meowtown, we don't have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They're not waiting to become housecats... they already are. They just need a house.
