Simon is the quieter half of his bonded pair with Andy. While Andy is ready to make friends with just about everyone, Simon likes to take his time and get comfortable before showing you his softer side.

He's a calm, independent boy who is perfectly happy doing his own thing or relaxing nearby. Once Simon feels safe with you, though, he does enjoy snuggling. He's not a cat who needs constant attention, which makes those moments when he chooses to curl up with you even sweeter.

And it's hard not to notice those beautiful blue eyes. They give Simon a striking look that definitely stands out.

Simon was rescued from life on the streets, where he was living with his mom and a younger litter of kittens. Being suddenly removed from the environment he knew was a big adjustment for him, and he's still learning that life with people can be pretty nice. A quiet, patient home where he can settle in at his own pace would be ideal.

Simon is good with other cats and especially loves his brother Andy. He does well with older children and currently tolerates the dog in his foster home, although we wouldn't necessarily call him a dog lover.

Most importantly, Simon and Andy are bonded and need to be adopted together. They balance each other beautifully. Andy is outgoing, playful and people-loving, while Simon is calmer and more reserved. Having his brother beside him gives Simon the companionship and familiarity that help him feel secure.

Simon doesn't need to be the center of attention. Give him a peaceful home, a little patience, his brother Andy, and the freedom to get comfortable on his own schedule. Once he does, you'll get to know the sweet, snuggly boy behind those gorgeous blue eyes.

At Meowtown, we don't have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They're not waiting to become housecats... they already are. They just need a house.

This kitten has not been neutered yet, but is available as Foster2Adopt. You adopt and take the kitten home with you, and we pay for and arrange for neuter later.
