If you're looking for a kitten who will play hard and then curl up beside you at bedtime, Andy may be your guy.

Andy is an affectionate, outgoing boy who loves just about everyone he meets. He loves being held, loves lap time, and especially loves to snuggle. He's used to sleeping right next to a person, so don't be surprised if your bed quickly becomes his bed too.

He's also a playful, high-energy kitten with a goofy side. I sometimes joke that Andy only has one brain cell. Every so often, a random zoomie strikes and he'll suddenly launch himself off the bed and race away for no apparent reason.

When he's not playing or snuggling, Andy takes his personal grooming very seriously. He's an enthusiastic self-cleaner who apparently believes there's no such thing as being too tidy.

Andy is good with cats, dogs, and children of all ages, and he's confident and social in new situations. He enjoys plenty of attention and interaction but is also happy hanging out nearby while his people go about their day.

Andy is bonded with Simon, and the two need to be adopted together. So whoever falls in love with Andy gets the bonus of bringing home his best friend too.

Andy had a rough beginning. He was found alone in the parking lot of Andy's Frozen Custard, which is how he got his name. He was weak and covered in ant bites, and his rescuers suspect he may have become separated from his family because he wasn't strong enough to keep up.

Thankfully, that little kitten made a full recovery. Today Andy is healthy, happy, playful, affectionate, and a wonderful companion.
Considering where his story started, we think sleeping snuggled beside someone every night is a pretty nice ending.

At Meowtown, we don't have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They're not waiting to become housecats... they already are. They just need a house.
