BELLA
Terrier, Shih Tzu

Toronto, Ontario
May 13th
female, small, senior
DESCRIPTION
Bella is a sweet shih tzu mix who weighs approximately 20 pounds and is estimated at 10 years young. She came into the shelter when her owner could no longer care for her
She bonds with her person quickly and will follow you around the house. She likes her walks and pulls a bit when she sees other dogs so she can greet them. She is great with other dogs.
In the house she is low maintenance. Sleeps in her bed or by your feet. Bella is completely housetrained and lets you know when she needs to go out. She sleeps in her bed, on the floor, the whole night and is not an early riser. Only barks when someone comes to the door and into the house but settles quickly once she is assured there is no danger.
Bella would make a lovely companion for an older person or couple who want unconditional love without all the high energy and needs of a younger dog.
She's not the best car traveller but when we transported her, she was in a crate and didn't seem to too bad (maybe because she couldn't see the motion)
She is a lovely girl and was just groomed. Good marks from the groomer
