Obtained From: A friend of a friend.
Reason for Intake: No longer financially able to care for her.

Up to Date with Vetting: yes
Good with dogs: Yes. She lives with a 5 year old Husky and is good with her. She is playful with other dogs and friendly. On walks she appropriately greets other dogs often with a Husky woo woo and a play bow. She has been good with a visiting Bully mix, GSD, and Lab.
Good with cats: She lives with cats. She will chase the cats in play. She can be called off with treats
Good with kids: Yes. She lives with a 13 year old child who can be loud and active. She has interacted with kids 4 years and up and been good with them. She leans in for pets and scratches and may try to give kisses.
Good with strangers: Yes. She doesn't bark when people come to the door but does do the Husky woo woo. She goes up and says hi and may jump up.
Resource guarding issues: No

Ever bitten a human: No

Fears:
Housetrained: Yes. She mainly pees and poops in the yard as she is too distracted on walks.
Crate trained: Yes. Her crate is set up and she will go in it to have a nap.

Bark when left alone: No. She is typically left alone 2-4 hours at a time with the other dog and cat. She has been left up to 6 hours. They live in a semi-detached and have not had any noise complaints.

Leash skills: She walks well on leash and does not pull. She does not show concern with dogs/people/vehicles. She appropriately greets dogs on leash walks.
Okay with physical handling/manipulations: Yes. They groomed her at Pet Valu but she was squirmy. She has been professionally groomed 3 times and the groomer said she was great. She is fine being handled at the vet office.
Known commands: sit, come
Food on now: Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein, Moderate Calorie, kibble. 1.25 cups, 2x/day.

Behavioural issues: Her nickname is Mexican Jumping Bean. She loves to dig and eat grass/dirt. She has escaped through the front door a couple of times but would come back for treats. Described as super friendly and playful. Loves to play tug, fetch, and wrestle.
Medical issues: Suspected food allergies. After a number of food trials the Royal Canin is the only food that helped.
