Nolan - Shepherd and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Pelham, New Hampshire

Meet Nolan!

Nolan is an absolutely adorable 3.5 month old Shepherd mix weighing around 18 pounds, and this handsome little guy is already stealing hearts! We’re estimating he’ll be somewhere around 60 pounds full grown, although that’s just our best guess. He’s an incredibly sweet, happy, playful puppy with a wonderful personality, a big heart, and so much potential to become an amazing lifelong companion!

Nolan is such a fun loving little boy who absolutely LOVES to play! He’s especially fond of wrestling and playing chase with the bigger dogs in his foster home, and he has no problem keeping up with them! He’s been wonderful with other dogs and would likely love having a playful canine companion in his forever home. He’s also been good with dog-savvy children who understand that he’s still very much a puppy and is learning his manners. Nolan is full of that happy puppy energy, and he’s always ready for a little adventure, some playtime, or an opportunity to explore the world around him!

One of the things we absolutely love about Nolan is just how SMART and eager to learn he already is! This boy is incredibly food motivated, which makes training such a rewarding experience. He’s already doing quite well walking on a leash, although he still likes to weave around a little as he figures things out. He’s curious, attentive, and eager to please, and with continued positive reinforcement and consistency, we know he’s going to pick up on new skills beautifully. He’s also already showing such a loyal side to his personality and loves being connected to his people.

Nolan is making wonderful progress with his house manners, too! He sleeps in his crate every night and has already gone multiple nights without any accidents. He’s still working on house training, but he’s making great strides. He even rang the potty bells to let his foster family know he wanted to go outside! He’s still just a baby, so his future family should be prepared to continue his training, establish a consistent routine, and help him learn all the important skills that come with growing into a well-mannered adult dog.

We would love to find Nolan an active, loving family who is excited about raising a smart, playful Shepherd mix! He’s going to be a wonderful medium-to-large-sized companion who will enjoy having opportunities to play, exercise, explore, and keep his mind busy. A family who enjoys spending time outdoors, going on adventures, and including their dog in everyday life would be a fantastic match. Nolan has such a wonderful combination of intelligence, loyalty, affection, and playful puppy enthusiasm, and we truly believe he’s going to make an incredible family member!

Nolan is neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and will have his health certificate prior to adoption. He’s sweet, smart, loyal, playful, and just an all-around GOOD boy!
