Hi, my name is Masha! I'm a RED pawprint, which means I need an experienced home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Affectionate, independent, smart, stubborn
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history. Would likely benefit from having another energetic and social cat around, slow and structured introductions required.
-Can Live with Dogs: Unknown history, may be ok with slow and supervised intros. Up to counselor's discretion.
-Can Live with Kids: Likely OK with cat-savvy teenage kids or older, up to counselor's discretion
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Always recommended, but not required
-History of Litter Box Issues: No
-Energy Level: Medium
-Bite History: No
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a spay and microchip

Masha is such a sweet and headstrong girl. She loves pets and scratches, and can go for a snuggle when the time is right. When the time is wrong... the hisses and claws come out pretty quick! A cat-experienced home with no little kids would make a great match for this kitty. She shows discomfort with body language first, so reading those subtle cues will keep everyone comfy. Socializing with another cat would likely help her keep on her best behavior, so long as it's a good match and they're introduced properly (our staff can give lots of info to help set you up for success!). She's smart and funny and an all around queen!
