Ladies and gentlemen, meet JAX — quite possibly the most handsome, charming, and ridiculously well-mannered dog to ever come out of Houston, Texas!

And this boy has a story!

Jax was once a stray, surviving on the streets of Houston before landing in a high-kill shelter. How this sweet, sophisticated gentleman ever ended up homeless is one of life’s greatest mysteries.

Because apparently, someone misplaced their butler.

Thankfully, Jax got his second chance and is now thriving in a wonderful foster home with two human brothers and three canine siblings.

And let’s just say he’s adjusted beautifully to the good life.

First, let’s discuss his table manners.

When Jax wants his dinner, he doesn’t bark, jump, or throw a tantrum. Oh no. This distinguished gentleman simply raises one paw, as if politely summoning the waiter.

“Excuse me, good sir. I believe my dinner reservation was for 6:00.”

And when he’s relaxing? Jax frequently crosses his front paws like an aristocrat posing for a royal portrait.

Honestly, we’re surprised he doesn’t own a monocle.

But don’t let the fancy manners fool you!

Underneath that sophisticated exterior is a 60-pound goofball who LOVES belly rubs, playing fetch, and making friends.

Jax has never met a stranger. Humans? Loves them. Kids? Absolutely! Other dogs? Fantastic!

In fact, Jax is a DOG DAYCARE FAVORITE! Apparently, his social calendar is more impressive than most people’s.

He’s also the perfect combination of relaxed couch companion and enthusiastic playmate. Want to binge-watch Netflix? He’s in. Want to play fetch? He’s already at the door.

Want to scratch his belly? Congratulations! You’ve just been promoted to his favorite person.

Jax is currently fostered in Texas and available to transport to approved adopter in the Midwest, Northeast and Canada.

$400 Adoption fee includes vaccinations, Spay/Neuter, microchip, deworming,
